  4. I love the first picture. It's beautifully edited and the sky being basically all white and the contrast with the bird being black and the building adds to the overall picture so much. It's perfect for fulfilling the grey aspect of the assignment. For the sneaker pics, I think you were able to use the camera well and it is clear you worked with the exposure and settings of the camera. For the last couple of pictures, although I like them, I think there needs to be a little less color, since it should almost be all black. So maybe a little light or color here and there. I think the second one out of those three fulfills the almost black the best because there is a pop of red in the exit sign and sweatshirt, but he is blocking the brown door, and his black sweatshirt and negative space is black and dark!

  5. I think your first image is so strong. I love the symmetry it encompasses, and the detail you captured. The way you took and edited the photo is really nice. The bird was positioned right in the center of the frame. The bird is so small in the photo but its strong contrast against the clear, light grey sky really adds to the picture. I like the ideas behind your almost black photos, but I wish there were different subject matters highlighted in each photo to make them more different from each other than the same person standing in a different position. Overall, I really like your photos and the grey ones are definitely my favorites!

  6. I really like your second image, it makes me wondering what object you are shooting. The first time when I see that picture, it looks like a side of a triangle building. But if I give a second though, that image can actually also be a side of a shoe (the vending holes of a shoe). Your angle of shooting is very good too, you left a small triangle near the center of the image. It looks perfect!! One tiny thing I can think of in order to make this image better is to shoot it more comprehensively so people can know what it is. But all in all, your images are very good.
