6. Quality Setting ( JPEG, RAW, Etc.)
7. Shutter Release
8. ASA/ISO
9. Aperture and how to change it
10. Shutter Speed and how to change it
11. Meter and how to activate it
12. Focus Ring where applicable
13. Hot Shoe where applicable
14. Proper Exposure and exposure meter/readout
15. Drive Settings/Self Timer
16. Auto Focus/Manual Focus
17. Auto Focus Settings
18. Cable Release socket/remote control
19. Bulb Setting
20. Prism where applicable
21. Flash, output, controls & On/Off
22. Exposure Bracketing
23. Exposure Compensation
24. Auto Focus and its different settings
25. Memory Card & Formatting it (which erases all info on the card, so be very careful)
26. How to view an image, erase an image and how to zoom in & out of an image on the screen
Most cameras will have many if not all of these items or features. You should know where to find them on your camera so when we discuss them you will know where to look for them and what to do. Do not get discouraged if you cannot find one or more of the above. Just write down what you cannot find and I will help you in class.
