I think your pictures are overall strong. I really like your dark images, especially the first one, because you cannot really tell what it is and the minimal bright light brings it all together. For the lighter images, I think certain crops or zooming in could help a little more, so that what the subject is could be left up to interpretation. Good job!!!
I love your dark pictures, especially the first one. I think it's a car mirror, but I'm not really sure. I like the reflection in the mirror and the minimal background light there is. The white light in the mirror helps everything surrounding look so dark. The same thing applies to your second picture in the almost black section. I really enjoy your white pictures as well and think you made good use of the camera and editing. I would say for the charger pic, maybe try to make it look less like a charger and challenge the viewer of the picture to figure out what it is. For your grey pictures, I would try to change up the subject a little, since the coloring and pattern is almost the same in both pictures. Maybe photograph a landscape during a foggy day or smoke coming from a fire/out of a building. Overall though, great job!!!
Sarah, I think you did a really nice job on your works in progress! My favorite photo is the one of the guitar. I think the contrast between the gray in the picture and the black hole in the guitar works well. In my opinion the photo might benefit from an increase in texture and clarity, as that would add more texture to the guitar strings and really help to flesh them out more. I think that would just add a bit more character to the image. I like the image of the phone charger, but I do think it's lacking a little bit in risk and tension. I would maybe try to do something a bit more inventive with it, something that a normal phone charger would never look like! I also really like your dark image, especially the one with the rain on the window. I think the texture of the rain drops adds a nice personality and flavor to the picture. Overall, really good job Sarah!
I like each one of your image, they all look very creative and thoughful. Each of these images tells me that you can using lots of time on shooting them. Among these images, I like the image of iphone/iwatch chargers the most. The whole image looks so clean and elegant. You impressed me that a good photograph can even be created by using such simple items. But one way to fix it can be using more texture on that image in order to make the chargers be more distinguished from the white background. Also you can try to add some black into that image to make it looks more contrast, more three-dimensianal. But overrall, you image is very good. You have created excellent photographs using the simpliest item! Good job!.
