  1. I like your white images, and I think that they have a good amount of potential. One thing I would suggest is that you put these images in black and white and tinker with the contrast in order to get that perfect balance where it's majority white, and you can just make out the details in the photo.

  2. This might sound stupid, but I think your black photos are too black. I think you should work to edit so while the tone and color is mostly black, theres still a slightly more visible subject. Not identifiable subject but just visible.

  3. Emma, I think you did a really nice job on your images! I really like the white one with the light. I would just recommend increasing the highlights a little in Lightroom, so that it takes the viewer a second or two longer to figure out what they are looking at. I also like how you incorporated some techniques we learned about light into your white images. I think your black images are a little too dark. That might not make sense, but its very hard to tell what they are pictures of because how dark the subject is. I think playing around with the highlights and contrast in Lightroom can help to make the photos be dark enough to be classified as "black", but bright enough so that the subject is identifiable to the viewer. I actually think the pictures of your shoes work better as a "black" image than a "grey" imagine. I really like your second "grey" image, as the subject is unique and hard to distinguish what it is at first glance. I think that makes it a very fascinating image. Overall, I think you did a good job Emma!
