Light as a Subject- Jess Berghofer

  1. I really like your fourth picture with the way you captured the light on the stone, and the angle of the photo is good too. The only criticism I have would be to adjust the placement of the camera to avoid the blurred part of the stone in the front of the picture.

  2. I think your last photo would be really cool if the hairclip was the only thing in the photo with the white background. A little more focus and you'd have a really cool look at the physical object and the shadow bouncing off of it.

  3. I really like your third picture Jess! The light shining off of the stones is very visually pleasing and does so in a way that is not to much so the viewer has to squint or can't really see the photo. The picture of the sand is also very interesting- certainly a unique subject. I think the only thing that could improve that photo is is you used a peak or small hill of sand that was a little taller than the one you had in the picture, as the subject, so that a larger shadow is produced from it. This could create an even greater contrast and be very visually pleasing.
